New Line Cinema is holding an open casting call for the lead role in "Rock of Ages," director Adam Shankman's adaptation of the Broadway musical. There's not much time: The movie starts filming in May.

Cruise is playing Stacee Jaxx, and Hough has the role of the very sweet Sherrie. But Shankman needs a Drew Boley, a singer-guitarist described as "the nicest aspiring rocker you'll find in the Bourbon Room."
"Rock of Ages" is a love story told through the music of Pat Benetar, Bon Jovi, Journey, Poison, Twisted Singer and other '80s artists.
