Tom Cruise is pulling another high-octane stunt in “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation,” the fifth entry in Paramount’s action franchise that hits theaters in the U.S. on July 31.
Cruise strapped himself to an Airbus A400 for a shot that has him outside the plane during takeoff and landing, and it looks every bit as hairy as it sounds.
The stunts have become a staple for Cruise in the “Mission Impossible” movies, which have grossed more than $2 billion globally. He scaled the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai for 2011’s “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol,” which is the highest-grossing of the series with $695 million at worldwide box office.
