Following weeks of bad news and disgruntled sponsors plaguing the NFL, one of the faces of the league elicited some much-needed laughter from fans on Thursday.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady shared his pre-draft résumé with his 2.5 million Facebook fans in a refreshingly positive post.
Brady won this Throwback Thursday, writing: “Found my old resume! Really thought I was going to need this after the 5th round.”

Included in the star’s list of achievements: a bachelor’s degree in general studies, an internship at Merrill Lynch, a summer job working as an assistant manager at a golf course, and that bit role on the University of Michigan football team, filed under “additional” information.
“Guided football team as starting quarterback to 1998 Big Ten Championship and postseason bowl victory,” the quarterback wrote.
The future Hall of Famer has three Super Bowl rings under his belt and a supermodel wife on his arm, but when he graduated from Michigan and was picked 199th in the 2000 NFL Draft, his future in the NFL was far from a sure thing.
