The 2018 NFL season is almost upon us and New England Patriots fans will get an extra dose of Tom Brady ahead of their opening game against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
The five-time Super Bowl champion is releasing a surprise new “Epilogue” episode of his acclaimed docuseries “Tom vs. Time” on Facebook Watch at noon ET on Wednesday, with a one-minute trailer offering a sneak insight into his offseason since the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
“When I look at the last six months, it’s the first time I’ve taken a little break,” Brady says over footage of him jet-skiing with his family in Doha in the teaser.
“If I’m going to do something at this point, it’s going to be because I enjoy it. It’s going to be [bleep] hard to do. I think it’s going to be very hard to do,” the 41-year-old admits as he sprints across a beach.
Created by filmmaker Gotham Chopra and produced by Religion of Sports, “Tom vs. Time” launched in January and has since been watched by over 54 millions viewers.
The new five-minute episode completes the series with a look back at an offseason Brady spent searching for his conviction. It also reveals Tom’s mindset as he approaches his 19th season — and whatever lies beyond that.
In the lead-up to the “Epilogue,” Brady connected with his fans on Facebook by hosting a Watch Party on Tuesday for “Tom vs Time Chapter 2: The Mental Game” (his favorite episode) in The Official Tom Brady Fan Group.
“Epilogue” airs Sept. 5 at 12 p.m. ET on Facebook Watch. Fans can add it to their Watchlists by following the Tom vs Time Facebook Page.
