Bearing witness to celebrity rage on Twitter is now a regular occurrence in the Trump era.
Several stars took to the social media platform on Tuesday to voice their frustration with the many issues plaguing the White House in the last week.
“Silicon Valley” star Kumail Nanjiani got blunt over Donald Trump’s widely-loathed comments to Gold Star widow Myeshia Johnson, whose husband Army Sgt. La David Johnson was one of four soldiers killed in Niger on Oct. 4. (Johnson said that after speaking with the president, she was even more upset because it was clear to her that he had forgotten her husband’s name.)
Nanjiani told conservative pundit Joe Walsh “f— you” in response to a tweet suggesting that it’s okay to criticize Johnson for being upset. “If you were a Gold Star family I’d be saying “he’s going through pain & grief. I extend comfort.” But as it stands… f— you,” the actor and comedian tweeted.
Director Judd Apatow said it’s “clear @realDonaldTrump has no grasp of any issue and does want his stupidity and ignorance revealed by any journalist” in response to a tweet by CNN’s Brian Stelter that said Trump hasn’t had a non-Fox TV interview in some time –except his interview with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.
In another tweet, Apatow added, “So @realDonaldTrump is against people with disabilities, rape victims, victims of gun violence, Puerto Rican’s, the NFL & the environment.”

I hated that Hocus Pocus wig at the time, but after staring at Trump's
hair for 18 months, it honestly looks not that bad.— bettemidler (@BetteMidler) October 24, 2017
