Tina Fey’s ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ Trailer: Ellie Kemper Rescued From a Doomsday Cult (Video)

The Golden Globes host created the upcoming Netflix comedy with “30 Rock” executive producer Robert Carlock

Ellie Kemper is a former member of a doomsday cult trying to get used to life in New York City in the first trailer for Tina Fey‘s Netflix comedy “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”

It does not appear that Fey will have a physical presence on the show she co-created with “30 Rock” executive producer Robert Carlock, but her sense of humor is unmistakable in the first look the streaming service debuted on Thursday.

Kemper, an “Office” alum who also had a supporting role in “Bridesmaids,” starts life over as a nanny for an Upper East Side socialite (Jane Krakowski) in the Big Apple takes on a world she didn’t think even existed, as she spent most her life in an underground bunker.

Both Fey and Carlock executive producer alongside “30 Rock” team Jeff Richmond, Jack Burditt, and David Miner.

Netflix will debut the first 13-episode season, in full, on March 6.
