Billionaire Mark Cuban is investing in "Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie."
Cuban's 2929 Productions announced Monday that it is financing the comedy, which stars writer/directors Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, along with Zach Galifianakis, 
Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and others.

2929's sister company, Magnolia Pictures, has acquired U.S. distribution rights.
Heidecker and Wareheim have told TheWrap that the budget for the movie is $1 billion.
TheWrap believes the actual figure is substantially lower.
In a written statement, Wagner/Cuban co-owner and 2929 Productions CEO Todd Wagner said, “We were initially apprehensive of the unprecedented price tag of the film, but apparently we agreed to it after having a drink with Tim and Eric. Actually, it’s all a little bit fuzzy. Regardless, we now realize that it would be foolhardy not to participate in what is sure to be the grandest entertainment ever presented to mankind.”
Wagner and business partner Mark Cuban are reported to have cameos in the film.
"Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" began filming in Los Angeles this month, and will shoot throughout March in Los Angeles and Palm Springs.
The movie is being produced by Funny or Die, Gary Sanchez Productions and Heidecker and Wareheim's Abso Lutely Productions.
The movie is about the comedians' characters, Tim and Eric, who, Wareheim told TheWrap, "literally get a billion dollars to make a movie, and we make it, and things go awry, and Tim and I just decide to get out of Hollywood and become businessmen in an abandoned mall.
The comedians are best known for producing the experimental comedy show “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.
