Hours after a voicemail Tiger Woods left for one of the women who claimed to have had an affair with him surfaced — while others told their Tiger tales to tabloids — the world’s number one golfer released another statement.
This time, it came with an apology, an admission of "trangressions" (a word that almost immediately became the no. 1 trending search term on Google) — and a shot at the media.
"Personal sins should not require press releases," Woods wrote on his Web site while, ostensibly, issuing a press release about his personal sins.
