Thorn in, Moran Out as Head of Fox TV Development

Michael Thorn replaces Kevin Moran at the top of Fox as senior VP of drama development

Twentieth TV is shaking up its executive ranks with Patrick Moran stepping down as head of development for the studio and Michael Thorn taking the reins.

Thorn will report to the studio’s executive vp of creative affairs, Jennifer Nicholson-Salke. Moran will remain as a development consultant during the transition, but said he is moving on to "try something a bit more entrepreneurial."

Thorn is currently with Marty Adelstein’s Lost Marbles TV and in June will take the title of senior VP of drama development at the studio. Thorn worked on MTV’s "Teen Wolf," and 20th’s "Supreme Courtships" and "Cop House." Previously he worked as drama development head at NBC where he helped develop series such as "Heroes" and "Friday Night Lights."
