David Annable is going to be appearing in an episode of “This Is Us” this season, TheWrap has confirmed.
The “What/If” star will play Kevin’s acting teacher, Kirby.
The guest star spot will reunite him with Mandy Moore, his former “Red Band Society” co-star who played his ex-fiancée, Dr. Erin Grace, on the short-lived Fox medical drama.
No moe details about Annable’s involvement this season were available Wednesday, including when his episode airs or whether he’ll appear in more than one.
Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, and Susan Kelechi Watson also star in the emotional NBC family drama, which is currently airing its fourth season on NBC. The series tells the story of a unique set of triplets, and follows the trials and tribulations of their lives as well as their parents’.
Creator Dan Fogelman executive produces with Isaac Aptaker, Elizabeth Berger, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, Ken Olin, Charlie Gogolak and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.
Annable has also appeared in television series like ITV’s “Heartbeat,” ABC’s “666 Park Avenue,” ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters,” Fox’s “Reunion,” and Paramount’s “Yellowstone.”
