A group of stereotypical best friends play a cliche game of basketball in the hilarious new clip from the upcoming spoof “They Came Together.”
The film — directed by David Wain and starring Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler — sends up all the insufferable tropes of romantic comedies, and this new clip via ComingSoon.net is no exception. Rudd’s buddies play basketball (while repeatedly chanting “basketball”) and give Rudd typical rom-com advice about love.

Ken Marino plays the carefree serial dater, Jack McBrayer plays the nerdy and thoughtful friend in a cardigan and Kenan Thompson plays the already-married friend who always talks about how great it is to tie the knot.
The all-star comedic cast also includes Cobie Smulders, Max Greenfield, Bill Hader, Ellie Kemper, Michael Ian Black, Christopher Meloni, Michael Shannon and Ed Helms.
