TheWrap senior TV writer Jethro Nededog walked out of Friday's "Veronica Mars" panel at Comic-Con with a smile on his face — because Rob Thomas's bigscreen adaptation looked, in his words, "really, really good."

Despite its small budget and only 20 days of shooting, the Kickstarter-fueled footage wowed the Hall H crowd with its quality look — and he believes binge-watching and the availability of the show online "could really help this movie."
