During a discussion on “The View” on Tuesday, the co-hosts slammed economist Ben Stein, who called President Obama “the most racist president there’s ever been in America” on Fox News.

“It was on Fox News, which I think just likes to incite a lot of hate and is not always factually correct,” she said.

“I’m so sick of people just gripping crap out of the air,” a peeved Whoopi Goldberg said. “Who knows what’s black enough, stop that!”

Conservative host Nicolle Wallace said comments like Stein’s make her “sad” because it moves the GOP backwards.

O’Donnell, of course, had a feud with former “View” co-host — and current Fox News host Elisabeth Hasselbeck — back when the two hosted on ABC’s chatfest. Upon news that O’Donnell was returning to the show this season, Hasselbeck slammed ABC’s casting choice. “Talk about not securing the border,” she said.

Fox News will be too busy with midterm election coverage to give O’Donnell’s comments any daylight Tuesday, but it will be interesting to see if network stars like Bill O’Reilly or Megyn Kelly take up her comments on-air Wednesday.
