Meghan McCain is guest co-hosting on “The View” next week, but she won’t be the only one.
ABC released the lineup for next week’s episodes on Thursday, and as TheWrap previously reported, Senator John McCain’s daughter will indeed guest co-host Monday, July 14.
What’s surprising, however, is the inclusion of Ana Belaval (WGN) and Sara Haines (ABC News) on the roster. They are scheduled to guest co-host on the daytime talk show on Tuesday, July 15, and Wednesday, July 16 respectively.
“View” watchers can be forgiven if they see the guest hosting gigs as tryouts for the spots that will be vacated by Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy when the season ends. The other spot, as ABC announced earlier Thursday, has been locked up by former host Rosie O’Donnell.
“It’s official! ABC confirms Rosie O’Donnell returns as co-host of #TheView w/ moderator Whoopi Goldberg for Season 18,” the show tweeted.
Beyond that, ABC has repeatedly refused to comment on rumors about who will sit next to her and Whoopi Goldberg next season.

Earlier this week, Sarah Palin suggested that she might be a good addition to “The View” panel — but she does not have any guest-host gigs lined up with the show, and does not appear to be a serious candidate to join.
