We’re nearing the end of Season 1 of “The Passage” and Fanning just keeps getting creepier and creepier by the week. Also somehow more charming, too, if that’s possible?
In a new clip from Monday’s episode, which is exclusive to TheWrap, Fanning (Jamie McShane) is trying to get inside Amy’s (Saniyya Sidney) head (literally) while she tries to enjoy herself in the sun-soaked reality she’s created in her mind. He’s trying to annoy some answers out of her and she’s not having it.
In particular, he wants to know about her relationship with Carter and she wants to know why — and why Fanning isn’t so nice to Carter.
“Because when you become what I am and what Carter is, it takes moxie and I had to make sure that he could tap into that power, that he was ready,” Fanning tells her.
“Ready for what?” she asks.
“For what’s coming next. The end is near, my dear,” Fanning says.
“I don’t do riddles, dude. Just say what you mean,” she responds.
Oh, we don’t think it’s gonna be that easy, Amy.
“The Passage” also stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Caroline Chikezie, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Brianne Howey, McKinley Belcher III, Henry Ian Cusick and Vincent Piazza.

“The Passage” airs Mondays at 9/8c on Fox.
