CBS’s “The Millers” got a decent demo number in its sophomore season return on Monday, but dropped 33 percent from the series debut last fall. It also couldn’t compare to its powerful lead-in, “The Big Bang Theory,” which doubled the demo rating of the Will Arnett sitcom on Monday night.

NBC topped Monday’s primetime in ratings, while ABC had the most viewers. The latter network was preempted by NFL coverage in Pittsburgh, however, which makes its early numbers subject to change. The CW is in the same boat, as it was preempted by the NFL game in Houston.

NBC was first in ratings with a 3.0 rating/9 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in viewers with an average of 10.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 3.3/9 and 11.6 million viewers. “The Blacklist” at 10 received a 2.4/7 and 9.4 million viewers.
