‘The Masked Singer’ Honored Former Contestant Bob Saget and It Was a Real Tearjerker (Video)

TV Theme Night ended without a dry eye in the house after a rendition of “Everywhere You Look”

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house after “The Masked Singer” honored Bob Saget during Wednesday’s episode.

This week’s episode was TV Theme Night, meaning that each of the contestants performed a theme song from an iconic television show. A few TV icons were also on hand to help with the clues, including “Full House” alum Jodie Sweetin.

After The Mummies were eliminated, Fortune Teller and Harp went head-to-head in the Battle Royale, where they performed a sweet rendition of the “Full House” theme song, “Everywhere You Look.” The performance began with Fortune Teller, who took a more traditional approach, singing the song as we all remember it from our TV screens.

Things took a heartfelt turn when Harp stepped up, as the music slowed and the lights dimmed. She sang the second half as a ballad, bringing so much emotion to the stage that it prompted the judges and the audience to tear up.

“Watching you sing that, Harp, and seeing Jodie … somewhere up above, our friend Squiggly Monster Bob Saget is smiling,” said judge Ken Jeong, referencing Saget’s own costume from when he competed on Season 4 of “The Masked Singer.”

As the camera panned to Sweetin, who had her hand on her heart, Jeong added: “This is what TV is all about.”

After he was eliminated from the competition two years ago, Saget spoke with TheWrap about his stint on Fox’s singing competition series, revealing that John Stamos knew about his gig, but he’d had to lie to Candace Cameron Bure about it.

“After the show last week, I was sent a video by Candace and Marilu Henner in the background, and she’s SCREAMING, ‘Are you Squiggly Monster?! That’s you! I know your voice! I know your movements! You’re Squiggly Monster,’” he said. “And I answered her, I said, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m very flattered and love you.’ But she knew. She was like freaking out, because she loves the show because it’s a show you can watch with your whole family.”
