Thanks to its oddball singing competition, Fox finished first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 5.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. Gordon Ramsay’s “24 Hours to Hell and Back” at 8 p.m. had a 1.0/5 and 3.4 million viewers. At 9, “The Masked Singer” scored a 2.4/10 and 7.8 million viewers.
NBC was second in ratings with a 1.2/6 and first in viewers with 8.3 million. “Chicago Med” at 8 put up a 1.3/6 and 8.8 million viewers. At 9, “Chicago Fire” earned a 1.2/5 and 8.5 million viewers. “Chicago PD” at 10 landed a 1.1/5 and 7.6 million viewers.
CBS was third in ratings with a 0.9/4 and in viewers with 4.5 million. “The World’s Best” at 8 averaged a 0.9/4 and 5.8 million viewers. The two-hour “Celebrity Big Brother” season finale at 10 received a 0.9/4 and 3.7 million viewers.
ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 3.1 million. “The Goldbergs” at 8 had a 1.1/5 and 4.8 million viewers. At 8:30, “Schooled” got a 0.8/4 and 3.7 million viewers. After a repeat, “Single Parents” at 9:30 received a 0.6/3 and 2.6 million viewers. “Match Game” finished primetime at 10 with a 0.5/2 and 2.4 million viewers.
Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 1.4 million, Telemundo was sixth with 1 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 574,000, airing all reruns.
