The new trailer for Paramount’s “The Little Prince” is a tale about growing up, friendships and staying young.
“You are going to make a wonderful grown-up,” The Little Girl gets told by her mother as she prepares herself for the grown-up world. Her carefully-planned, intense life gets interrupted by her neighbor, the Aviator (voiced by Jeff Bridges), who tells the tale of The Little Prince, a boy who changed the Aviator’s life a long time ago.
The Little Girl’s emotional journey leads her to find herself and rediscover her childhood while learning that ultimately, friendships matter most in the world.
“I’m not sure I want to grow up anymore,” The Little Girl tells the Aviator.
“Growing up isn’t the problem, forgetting is,” he tells her.
The on-screen adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s iconic masterpiece, The Little Prince, features the voices of Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, James Franco, Marion Cotillard, Benicio del Toro, Vincent Cassel, Paul Giamatti, Ricky Gervais and Mackenzie Foy as The Little Girl.
It is set for a March 18 release date after debuting at Cannes Film Festival in May.
