In TheWrap’s exclusive new clip from Friday’s “The Blacklist,” Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq), Red’s (James Spader) closest friend, most-trusted confidant and right-hand man confesses to a spiritual advisor that he is facing a crisis of conscience with the potential of big implications for Liz (Megan Boone) and Red.
Fans of the NBC spy drama will remember Dembe has been keeping one giant fact hidden from his employer all season long: Liz was the one who turned Red into the police.
“My word is my bond. And before I break my word I will give my life,” Dembe tells the man, adding that his bond with Red “extends with him through this life and into the next.”
