If you’ve already seen “Avengers: Infinity War” multiple times but need another fix, Disney-owned ABC brought some synergy Monday night with an “Avengers”-themed edition of “Mean Tweets” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Watch the Marvel Universe A-Team celebrate their historic box office success by wallowing in insults above.
You know the drill: famous people read the cruel things people have said about them on Twitter. For instance, Tom Holland — that’s Spider-Man to you — about whom someone tweeted “I bet Tom Holland is one of those whities who claps when the plane lands.”
Or Samuel L. Jackson, AKA Nick Fury who read the following: “While I’m comparing old men to reptiles, ever notice that Samuel J. Jackson looks like a snapping turtle?”
Chadwick Boseman might have led the most successful Marvel film not featuring all of the Avengers, but even he got dissed hard. “How did the coolest blackest dude in the galaxy end up with some whitebread-ass name like ‘Chadwick’?” read the tweet the king of Wakanda was forced to read. Sorry, Black Panther.
