Mike Tyson better watch out, because Terry Crews has some sweet lip-syncing skills.
Spike released a preview of Crews’ performance of Run D.M.C’s “Sucker MC’s” ahead of Thursday’s episode of “Lip Sync Battle,” in which the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star goes up against boxing’s former heavyweight champion of the world.
Though Tyson proved himself a capable lip syncer in the preview of his performance of Salt-N-Pepa’s 1986 hit “Push It,” Crews appears to work the crowd into a frenzy with his mic skills, stage presence and white Adidas — a Run D.M.C. signature style mark.
“Lip Sync Battle” started off as a segment on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” and quickly turned into an internet sensation. The gag really took off when a clip went viral of Emma Stone absolutely schooling the Fallon with rapid Blues Traveler lyrics and a bombastic DJ Khaled/Ludacris rap.
Tyson vs. Crews debuts April 23 at 10 p.m.
