Jason O'Mara is getting back to work after Fox's cancellation of the troubled dinosaur drama "Terra Nova."
O'Mara, who played Jim Shannon on the recently axed program, has lined up a starring role in the upcoming Untitled Ralph Lamb Project pilot on CBS, alongside Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis.

As with his last TV project, O'Mara will also be traveling back in time for this one, albeit not as far: Set in the 1960s, the projects centers around the true story of Ralph Lamb, a rodeo cowboy who went on to become the longtime sheriff of Las Vegas. O'Mara will play Frank, the younger brother to Quaid's Ralph Lamb.

"Goodfellas" writer Nicholas Pileggi and "Without a Trace" and "Smallville" vet Greg Walker are writing the project, as well as producing, along with James Mangold, Cathy Konrad, Arthur Sarkissian. Chiklis and Quaid are co-executive producing.
