Teens Cast as Scorpius Malfoy & Severus Snape in Final ‘Harry Potter’ Movie

“Boardwalk Empire” star Kelly Macdonald will play the Grey Lady in “Deathly Hallows: Part 2.”

"Boardwalk Empire" star Kelly Macdonald will play the ghostly Grey Lady in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," which officially wrapped production after a recent round of reshoots pertaining to the franchise's highly anticipated epilogue.

Also known as Helena Ravenclaw, the late daughter of Hogwarts founder Rowena Ravenclaw, the character is an important information keeper who previously appeared in "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone," where she was played by "Clash of the Titans" actress Nina Young.

Warner Bros. decided to reshoot the epilogue after fans complained that the stars' makeup made them look too old, as Harry & Co. are only supposed to be 35 at the end of the last novel.

Other additions to the ensemble cast include 14-year-old Benedict Clark (below, left) and 13-year-old Bertie Gilbert (right), who will play Draco Malfoy's son, Scorpius, a character that figures into the finale at King's Cross.

As for Clark, he'll play young Severus Snape, which is a good indication that the character's sad flashbacks will be included in the film. Alec Hopkins played young Snape in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," and while he'll likely reprise the role, the character's flashbacks take place a decade earlier, necessitating the casting of a younger actor.

Warner Bros. will release "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" on July 15, 2011.
