“Avengers: Endgame” and The CW’s “Riverdale” dominated Fox’s Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, winning four awards each.
The two-hour event hosted by “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale and YouTuber David Dobrik was broadcast live from Hermosa Beach, California, and featured a massive surf-and-sand dance number that set the tone.
Taylor Swift accepted the inaugural Icon Award and took a moment to applaud the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team not only for winning the World Cup, but “also taking a historic stand in terms of gender equality, gender pay gap.”
The Jonas Brothers received the Decade Award, recognizing their evolution over the past 10 years.
