Jessica Barth (“Ted 2”), Matt Dallas (“Kyle XY”), Sydney Sweeney (“The Ward”), Madison Lintz (“The Walking Dead”), Kyla Deaver (“The Conjuring”) and Oscar-nominated actor Bruce Davison are set to star in DeVan Clan Productions’ supernatural horror film “Tell Me Your Name,” TheWrap has learned.
Jason DeVan wrote and will direct the exorcism movie, which he and wife Heather DeVan will produce under their DeVan Clan banner along with Dylan Matlock. Ken Dunn will serve as executive producer.
Sweeney will play Ashley, a young woman with a troubled past who returns to her hometown to stay with her Aunt Tanya (Barth) after her older sister heads off to college. With the help of her childhood best friend (Lintz), Ashley attempts a séance to reach out to her deceased mother, but it goes terribly wrong. A malevolent force has attached itself to Ashley, causing her to act out. With the help of the conflicted Reverend Michael (Davison) and newcomer Pastor John (Dallas), Tanya will stop at nothing to find out what has happened to her niece. They have only one chance to save Ashley’s soul — and redeem theirs in the process.
The DeVans (pictured below) have been married for 15 years and have more than 30 years of combined experience on and off the screen. “Tell Me Your Name” is the second film Jason DeVan has written and directed, with production slated to start this month in Buford, Georgia and downtown Flowery Branch.
