Kendrick Lamar, Nick Jonas, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are also among the musical stars who are nominated for the show that airs live from the Microsoft Theater (formerly Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE) in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Miley Cyrus has been named as host of this year’s show MTV Video Music Awards, and the controversial singer shared the news on Twitter Monday. “MTV won’t let me perform, so I’m hosting this year’s VMAs,” the “Wrecking Ball” singer tweeted.
