Peter Berg and Taylor Kitsch are continuing their streak of military-themed projects by teaming up for the “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” video game trailer released Thursday, which sees the actor embroiled in a futuristic war.
The “Battleship” and “Lone Survivor” actor-director duo take the viewer on an action-filled journey through 2059 war-torn Lagos, the setting of the eleventh “Call of Duty” video game installment.

The first-person POV belongs to Jack Mitchell, who is voiced by Troy Baker in the actual game itself, a one-armed soldier who joins the Atlas Corporations to help carry out military campaigns all over the world.

Kevin Spacey is also voicing a lead character in the game, that of Atlas’ CEO.
The footage in the trailer could be mistaken for a modern day war zone until the arrival of futuristic hovercrafts and robots, with “Gone Girl” actress Emily Ratajkowski making an appearance in the middle of the action to provide a welcome break from the action.
