Melissa McCarthy and her husband, Ben Falcone, were all smiles at the Los Angeles premiere of their latest film, “Tammy.” The comedy is truly a family affair, with McCarthy and Falcone co-writing and co-starring in it. McCarthy also co-produced the film, alongside Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, while Falcone directed.

Susan Sarandon co-stars as McCarthy’s titular character’s grandmother, Pearl, in what becomes a road buddy film after Tammy loses her job, totals her car, and finds her husband cheating with the neighbor. On their way to Niagara Falls, Tammy finds time to reflect, and get into situations that are guaranteed to require McCarthy’s signature physical comedy to get out of.
In keeping with the family theme, Sarandon was joined on the red carpet by her daughter Eva Amurri, who is pregnant with her first child, and son-in-law Kyle Martino. McCarthy enjoyed her family on the red carpet, too, as she was joined by her parents Sandra and Michael, as well as her sister Margie.
Among the attendees at the film’s premiere were co-producer Will Ferrell, as well as the film’s stars Sarah Baker, Mia Rose Frampton, Rich Williams, Nat Faxon, and Mark Duplass. They were joined by executive producer Chris Henchy, and producer Kevin J. Messick, as well as President and COO of New Line Cinema, Toby Emmerich.
