Liam Neeson continues his big-screen streak of bad-assery in "Taken 2."
The film follows retired CIA operative Bryan Mills (Neeson) to Istanbul, where his loving wife Lenore (Famke Jannsen) and daugther Kim (Maggie Grace) surprise him with a visit.
Unbeknownst to the family, the father of Kim's kidnapper in 2008's "Taken," whom Bryan killed while rescuing her, is on a bloodthirsty quest for vengeance and retribution, and Bryan and Lenore are taken hostage.
Heavy gunfire ensues as Bryan and Lenore try to escape, and an apparently not-so-innocent Kim tries to evade the kidnappers yet again.
For those who can't stand the suspense until the film's Oct. 5 release, here's a glimpse of "Taken 2" — with the inevitable "We're going to be taken" phone call, of course.
