Be prepared: McLovin is going to try to sell you coupons for discounted dance lessons and facials. "Superbad" actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse will play a Groupon employee in the CBS comedy pilot "Friend Me."
A rep for the "Superbad" scene stealer says he will co-star in "Friend Me," about a pair of twentysomethings who move from their Indiana hometown to Los Angeles, where they work for Groupon.
"10 Things I Hate About You" star Nicholas Braun will play Mintz-Plasse's Groupon buddy. Alan Kirschenbaum and Ajay Sahgal are writing and producing the comedy.

The "Friend Me" role would mark the first TV lead for Mintz-Plasse, who also co-stars with Braun in the upcoming big-screen comedy "Get a Job."
The actor, who also starred in "Role Models," "Kick Ass" and, most recently, "Fright Night," has a full slate of upcoming movie projects.
He co-stars with Anna Kendrick in the comedy "Pitch Perfect," about college a cappella singing competitions, reprises his role as Fishlegs in "How to Train Your Dragon 2," and co-stars with Bill Hader, Adam Pally, Aubrey Plaza, Andy Samberg, Donald Glover, Connie Britton and Alia Shawkat in "The To-Do List," a comedy about a high school grad (Plaza) who tries to complete a sexual to-do list before going to college.
