Margot Robbie shined as Harley Quinn in “Suicide Squad,” but a cosplay twin might be stealing her thunder.
According to Buzzfeed Australia, a girl named Laura looks remarkably similar to Margot Robbie dressed as Harley. Her Instagram is full of pictures in which she dons the costume, including the baseball bat and dyed pigtails.
Laura also captions the photos with plentiful Harley Quinn one liners, such as “Harley Quinn, nice to meetcha!’ and “Stupid bats!”
Robbie starred as Dr. Harley Quinn, the Joker’s love interest in “Suicide Squad,” which hit theaters in August and grossed $700 million worldwide since its debut.
In May, it was announced that Warner Bros. would be developing a spin-off for DC’s Harley Quinn, with Robbie attached to reprise her role.
The film is not a Harley Quinn solo movie but would feature multiple female superheroes — and possibly villains — in the DC Comics universe. Beyond Harley, names being considered include Batgirl and Birds of Prey.
