“Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” “Mortal Kombat: Legacy II” and “Huffpost Live” are among the dozens of Streamy Awards nominees, which Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter announced on Monday.
The annual award show, launched in 2010, honors excellence in original online video across 47 wide-ranging categories, including shows, brand campaigns, collaborations, music, performers and even pranks.

Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars” nabbed a nomination for best overall Non-Fiction or Reality series, while “Mortal Kombat” was nominated in multiple categories — best Overall Drama series, Action and Sci-Fi series, Choreography, Cinematography, Directing, and Visual effects.
The Huffington Post’s “Huffpost Live” secured a nomination against “Op-Docs,” “RetroReport,” “SourceFed” and “YouTube Nation” in the News and Current Events category.

The 4th annual Streamy Awards will stream live from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Sept. 7. 16 categories will be awarded at the event, while the rest will be announced earlier at the nominees reception in Playa Vista, Calif. on Sept. 4.
“If the caliber of this year’s nominees is any indication, we’re on track for the biggest Streamys ever,” executive producer Drew Baldwin, co-founder of Tubefilter, said in a statement. “As the leading producer of live events, Dick Clark productions is the best possible partner for a show that honors the ever-evolving digital landscape and pioneers who are shaping the future of mainstream entertainment.”
