Still Looking for the President’s E-Mail Address?

Fascination about President Obama’s heavily-encrypted mobile device – so guarded that he has yet to show it in public – keeps growing. As we reported here the other day, the president only got to keep his Blackberry-like device by agreeing to limit the number of his pen-pals.

At the posh Alfalfa Club dinner last weekend, Obama told the glittery crowd, "It's a very exclusive list. How exclusive? Everyone look at the person sitting on your left. Now look at the person sitting on your right. None of you have my e-mail address."

And none of them has seen the device either. When NBC’s Matt Lauer interview Obama on Superbowl Sunday, he asked to see the Blackberry, saying he had left it upstairs in the private quarters.

Last night, NBC’s late night comic Jay Leno weighed in with a doctored video showing Obama saying he’d left the thing upstairs and Lauer looking upset as something in the president’s pocket rings and rings and rings.
