The 10-part series, which stars Clive Owen, centers around the Knickerbocker Hospital in New York in 1900, as the hospital’s groundbreaking surgeons, nurses and staff push the boundaries of medicine at a time when the practice was relatively primitive.

Meath will play Phinny Sears, a seemingly-sincere Irish American cop in 1900 New York.  But just like everyone else in the big city, Phinny is trying to figure out not only how to get his piece of the big city payoff pie, but if he has the smarts and courage to pull it off in the first place.
