Jennifer Lopez, Steve Martin Board DreamWorks Animation’s ‘Home’ (Exclusive)

They join Jim Parsons and Rihanna in the November 2014 release

Steve Martin and Jennifer Lopez have been voice-cast in DreamWorks Animation’s “Home,” the animated alien-invasion buddy comedy set for a November 2014 release.

They join the previously announced Jim Parsons and Rihanna for the film based on the book “The True Meaning of Smekday,” the children’s book by Adam Rex that was first published in 2011.

Martin will voice Captain Smek, leader of the overly optimistic alien race known as the Boov, who take over Earth and begin to relocate the human race — convinced they’re doing them a big favor.

Rihanna will voice a resourceful girl who avoids capture and unwittingly becomes the accomplice of a banished Boov (Parsons).
