Steve Martin and Martin Short are coming to Netflix. The comedy legends announced a new special for the streaming service, and the anticipation is so high that their cameraman can only see the top of their heads.
“Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life” will launch globally on Netflix later this year. Martin tweeted a brief video announcement, where he and Short promised that they’ll be working with “the best video people in the business.”

“I’m often asked, who do you think was the greatest stand-up of the late ’70s. And I’d always say, it’s you Steve,” Short said in the video.
Martin and Short taped the special at the Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina during their current tour. It features musical sketches, a conversation between the comedy legends and a performance from the bluegrass band The Steep Canyon Rangers and jazz pianist and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” band member, Jeff Babko, with whom Martin has jammed with in the past.
“Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life” was directed by Marcus Raboy and executive producers include Martin, Short, Lorne Michaels, Erin David and Marc Gurvitz.
