Steve Harvey Signs Overall Deal With Endemol Shine North America

Steve Harvey has signed an overall deal with Endemol Shine North America, the studio’s co-chairmen and co-CEOs Cris Abrego and Charlie Corwin announced Monday.

Under the deal, Endemol Shine and Harvey’s company East 112th Street Productions will partner to develop original unscripted, unscripted and digital programming.

Harvey currently serves as executive producer and host on the daytime talk show “Steve Harvey” from Endemol Shine and NBCUniversal. In addition, he serves as host of the long-running syndicated game show, “Family Feud” and its ABC primetime counterpart, “Celebrity Family Feud.” He also hosts the nationally syndicated morning radio show, “Steve Harvey Morning Show.”

“We are thrilled to be extending our relationship with Steve Harvey, arguably the hottest personality in TV right now,” said Abrego and Corwin in a joint statement. “We’ve enjoyed a great relationship with him on our hit, Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show for several years now and we’re excited to explore new programming opportunities with Steve and his team at East 112th Street across a wide variety of platforms and genres.”

“I’m truly excited to bring East 112th Street Productions to Endemol Shine, where I’ve enjoyed a great partnership with my talk show over the last four years,” said Harvey. “Cris, Charlie and the team at Endemol Shine offer us the opportunity to expand our vision for East 112th Street globally and we’re already exploring a number of potential projects together that I can’t wait to see get off the ground.”

East 112th Street Productions is now based at Endemol Shine North America’s Los Angeles office. Gerald Washington serves as President, East 112th Street Productions and Donna-Marie Reid is Director of Development.
