“This Is Us” star Sterling K. Brown has been making big moves in Hollywood since bursting on the scene as Chris Darden in 2016’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” On Friday, the actor proved he’s got even bigger moves on the dance floor.
Jimmy Fallon challenged Brown and special guest Brian Tyree Henry to a dance battle last night on “The Tonight Show.” Bad idea, bro — these dudes can shake it.
Brown was up first, and the late-night show’s random Dance Move Generator machine assigned him “I Lost Control of My Butt.” Of course the guy behind Randall Pearson absolutely killed it. Heck of a butt to lose control of, by the way.
Fallon’s turn was an homage to some of Brown’s best work — the NBC personality drew “I Just Watched ‘This Is Us’ and Now I’m at the Club.” Much like Tuesday nights at 9 on NBC, there were plenty of tears here.
Lastly (but not least-ly), Henry was given “Dad Gets Turnt.” While we have no idea what that phrase means, the “Atlanta” star did a masterful interpretation — and then he taught the other fellas his signature shuffle, which is basically a hipper electric slide.
