Donald Trump is set to appear as a guest on CBS’ “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” Wednesday night — or a cartoon version of the presidential candidate will, at least.
A teaser clip of the episode begins with the pair discussing Tuesday’s CNN GOP town hall, in which Trump was compared to a five-year-old by moderator Anderson Cooper. “Anderson Cooper’s a dumb-dumb. He’s a stupid-head, a total poopy-pants. It’s sad,” Cartoon Trump said.
And when the conversation turned contentious, Trump throws out classic lines like: “I know you are but what am I?” and “I’m rubber and you’re glue, I have a lawyer and I will sue.”
The bit closes with Colbert threatening Cartoon Trump with a “bomb” similar to the one he claims was wielded by the Breitbart reporter allegedly assaulted by Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, i.e. a pen.
Colbert shared the clip on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday, writing “Tonight! When @realDonaldTrump is angry, he gets really animated.”
