WWE chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon is going to lay the smackdown on some unsuspecting wrestlers on Friday’s “Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition.”
The daughter of WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and husband of Superstar-turned-executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque will don a blonde wig and adopt a southern accent as “Sam,” a single mom who is trying to learn about WWE for her blog.
Here at TheWrap, we’ve got your exclusive first look at her stunning transition. Steph ends up completely unrecognizable — even to this WWE fan.
Stephanie McMahon’s CBS journey starts when she meets an aspiring wrestler with an inspirational message, per the reality show’s episodic synopsis. She is then pushed into action at a photoshoot with sparring wrestlers, and eventually assists at a fundraiser spearheaded by a young WWE fan and cancer survivor.
“Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition” is produced by Studio Lambert/All3Media America. Stephen Lambert, Sean Foley and Greg Goldman are executive producers.
Watch the video above. Our sneak peek is set to debut on television tonight on “Monday Night Raw.”
WWE’s “Raw” airs Mondays from 8-11 p.m. ET on USA Network. Sister series “SmackDown Live” runs from 8-10 p.m. ET Tuesdays on the same NBCUniversal cable channel — for now.
As TheWrap exclusively reported last month, “SmackDown” is moving to Fox’s broadcast channel next fall, when it will switch to Friday nights.
Stephanie McMahon serves as “Raw” commissioner, her on-TV role for the organization.
