Starz’s upcoming comedy miniseries “Survivor’s Remorse” will premiere Oct. 4 at 9 p.m., while the reality offering “The Chair” will debut Sept. 6 at 11 p.m., the network said Friday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Friday.
The six-part “Survivor’s Remorse,” which counts NBA star LeBron James among its executive producers, revolves around Cam Calloway (Jessie T. Usher), a basketball player from a rough background who scores a multimillion basketball contract and moves to Atlanta to embark on a life of stardom.

“The Chair,” meanwhile, was created by “Project Greenlight” executive producer Chris Moore and is being billed as an “original filmmaking experiment” that follows two first-time directors who direct two separate films based on the same screenplay. Voters across multiple platforms will determine which director wins the $250,000 prize.

Moore, will be available on platforms including Starz’s YouTube and Facebook pages, as well as select cable and satellite outlets.
