The official poster for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” was revealed at the “Star Wars Celebration” in Orlando on Friday morning.
In the poster, we see Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker and Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren, split up by a Lightsaber held by Daisy Ridley’s character, Rey.
“The Last Jedi,” the eighth numbered entry in the “Star Wars” saga, picks up where “The Force Awakens” left off after the franchise took a diversion in 2016 with “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”
“The Last Jedi” is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.
During the “Star Wars Celebration,” a trailer was also released which teases the potential end for the Jedi.
“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” hits theaters Dec. 15.
