Stacey Dash is adding fuel to the fire engulfing the transgender bathroom debate and says that people who “can’t decide what you wanna be that day” should go pee “in the bushes.”
“It’s tyranny by the minority. Why do I have to suffer because you can’t decide what you wanna be that day?” Dash said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight‘s Nischelle Turner. “It’s your body! So, it’s your decision, right? We all make choices.”
In her new memoir, “There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative,” the 49-year-old Fox News contributor said that Caitlyn Jenner, for example, made a choice to be transgender, and blasted her for using the women’s bathroom in the Trump Tower in New York.
When Turner stated that transgender people believe they did not choose to be trans but were born that way, Dash added that the trans rights movement was infringing “upon her rights too much.”
“OK, then go in the bushes,” Dash replied. “I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m not gonna put my child’s life at risk because you want to change a law. So that you can be comfortable with your beliefs — which means I have to change my beliefs and my rights? No.”
During the interview, Dash also blasted Lady Gaga as a “hypocrite” because she thinks Gaga was using her Born This Way Foundation to promote “her liberal agenda” — something Dash also claimed in her memoir.
“It’s true. It is. And that’s what Hollywood does,” she said. “Hollywood pushes a liberal agenda to the rest of the country. And, whether we like it or not, Hollywood dictates the culture of the country.”
