Rebecca Hall, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Bruce Willis try to game Las Vegas in the latest trailer for “Lay the Favourite,” an upcoming dramedy directed by Stephen Frears.
The film is based on Beth Raymer’s memoir of the same name with Hall starring as Raymer.
The rough contours of a story are laid out: There’s Vegas. There’s betting. There’s love. There's trouble with the law. There’s Hall flaunting her beauty to the benefit of herself and her associates.
Beyond that it’s unclear, but with production based in Vegas, New York City and New Orleans, sin can’t be too far away.
