The premiere, which started at 10 p.m. and ran for nearly two hours, had 4.1 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic — also a high for the Kurt Sutter-created series.
Last year’s premiere drew 5.87 million total viewers, with 3.94 million in the demo.

While FX recently enacted a policy of not releasing ratings until Live Plus 3-Day data is available, Sutter appears to have an inkling that the premiere performed well, if his Twitter account is any indication.
“Won’t have official viewing data until Monday. But I have a good feeling that a few of you may have tuned in to watch the premiere,” Sutter tweeted on Wednesday.
