‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Renewed for Season 15 on Fox

Auditions begin next month

Fox’s Emmy-winning talent competition “So You Think You Can Dance” has been renewed for its 15th season, the network said Friday.

Judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, who have been with the show since Season 1, will return along with last season’s judge Vanessa Hudgens. Cat Deeley will return as host.

“It’s incredible to make it to 15 seasons, which just speaks to the impact this program has had, not only on the world of dance, but also on our loyal fans and viewers, to whom we are most grateful,” said Lythgoe, who is also an executive producer.

Auditions for the competition will kick off in March, and the show will premiere later this summer. Contestants between the ages of 18 and 30 can show off their dancing skills at auditions in Los Angeles and New York (hopefuls can find more info here.)

Last season, 19-year-old Lex Ishimoto was named America’s favorite dancer and took home the $250,000 prize.

“SYTYCD” has racked up 59 Emmy nominations and 15 wins over its past 14 seasons.
