‘SNL’: Kate McKinnon’s Laura Ingraham Reminds You Not to Vote, Mocks Alec Baldwin (Video)

McKinnon’s Ingraham and guests Judge Jeanine and David Clarke also try to terrify you with fake footage of the immigrant caravan

Alec Baldwin did not appear as Donald Trump in this week’s “SNL” cold open after the news about how he may or may not have punched someone over a parking spot, but the show still mentioned him during a parody of Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show with “SNL” regular Kate McKinnon as the much-boycotted host.

Appearing on this fake version of “Ingraham Angle” were Cecily Strong as Judge Jeanine Pirro and Kenan Thompson as David Clarke.

Throughout the sketch, the three characters would try to drum up fear about the immigrant caravan in Mexico slowly making its way to the southern United States border by showing alleged footage of the caravan that actually was something else entirely. Like a mob of Black Friday shoppers, zombies from the movie “World War Z” and a mass of crabs scrambling around on a beach.

McKinnon’s Ingraham also paused frequently to thank her few remaining sponsors, which included a sister product of My Pillow called “My Hemorrhoids Donut.”

One of the best gags was probably Thompson as Clarke playing up conspiracy theories about voter fraud by declaring: “If these immigrants walk at a normal pace of 300 miles a day, they could be here in time to vote on election day!”

McKinnon’s Ingraham also provided a few tips for those who are going out to vote in the midterm elections next week, such as never vote on Tuesdays” and “you already voted.”

And as for Baldwin, the sketch ended with a jab at “disgraced former actor Alec Baldwin, seen here molesting a young Boy Ccout.” At which point “SNL” displayed an image of a shirtless Baldwin with Adam Sandler dressed in a Boy Scout costume from an old sketch.

You can watch the sketch in the video embedded at the top of this post.
