“Saturday Night Live” is coming back with a series of veteran hosts and musical guests as well as one notable newcomer. The NBC variety show will officially return on March 29 with “Anora” and “Better Things” star Mikey Madison as its host.
This episode will mark the Oscar-winning Best Actress’ “SNL” debut. During that March show, she will be accompanied by musical guest Morgan Wallen. The Grammy-nominated country artist first made his “SNL” debut in Season 46 and will kick off his “I’m the Problem” tour this summer.
Then, on April 5, the show will be hosted by Jack Black, who has hosted the series three times before. The comedy icon previously spearheaded the show during Seasons 27, 29 and 31. Black’s appearance will come a day after the release of his latest movie, “A Minecraft Movie.” He will be joined by Elton John, who previously appeared as a musical guest in Season 7 and served as both musical guest and host in Season 36, as well as Brandi Carlile, who performed on the show during Seasons 47 and 48. Their collaborative studio album “Who Believes In Angels?” is set to be released on April 4.
