NBA Hall-of-Famer Charles Barkley and “This Is Us” star Sterling K. Brown will host the first two “SNL” episodes of March, the NBC sketch-comedy staple said on Tuesday.
For Barkley, March 3 will mark his fourth time performing a monologue for Lorne Michaels’ cast of characters and its nationwide audience. His musical guest is Migos, which makes their “Saturday Night Live” debut that (late) night.
A week later, Emmy winner Brown will host “SNL” for a first time. His musical guest is James Bay.
Brown posted a video of himself on Instagram Tuesday morning after the announcement to voice his excitement, saying “This is truly a dream come true. I’ve watched @nbcsnl since I was a baby. To finally get to host is one of the more surreal moments of my life, but it’s gonna be awesome.”

Additionally, on St. Patrick’s Day, cast alum Bill Hader will return to the “SNL” stage with musical guest Arcade Fire. March 17 is their second and fourth turns, respectively.
“Saturday Night Live” is produced with Broadway Video and created and executive produced by Michaels.
